Cumming, GA was once known as Atlanta’s best kept secret but has quickly grown over the past few years. Many residents love the combination of having a city feel while also having easy access to Lake Lanier. Live – Starting this Saturday you can spend some time every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 6:30-11am at the Cumming Farmers Market. You’ll find tables and displays filled with a wide variety of produce along with baked goods and canned jellies. This farmer’s market will run through September so plenty of time to find a day and meet the vendors and find out more about their homegrown and homemade products.
Work – Looking to find out more about job opportunities in Cumming? Check out the City of Cumming’s website to see open positions with the city. Opportunities range from full time to part time. Current openings are currently working with the Cumming Playhouse as box office event attendant or lifeguarding with the Cumming Aquatic Center.
Play – For a great family friendly event stop by the Cumming Fairgrounds and enjoy their Fridays at the Fairgrounds starting on June 15th from 6:00-10:00pm. They’ll have live music, classic cars, hot air balloon rides, and inflatables for the whole family to enjoy. Of course, there will be food trucks there for when you get hungry!
