Seen, Heard and Wrangled by Our Ringleaders at NAMAR

Last week, we did it again. We took a conference theme and totally owned it. Under the “big top” of NAMAR’s 12th Annual Partners in EXPO, our Cook & James booth -- which we called “The Greatest Closing on Earth” -- January 16th at the Infinite Energy Center hosted about 300 people total during the whole day-long, circus-themed event.

Heather and I dressed up like circus ringleaders in red jackets and cute top hats and directed our booth’s activities which featured hand-spun cotton candy (thanks, Mary for manning that sticky machine!), popcorn, animal crackers, red vines and a ton of swag. The rest of our team donned tutus, weightlifter/strong-man costumes and more to get in on the circus excitement.

One of the most popular draws (pun intended!) at our booth was a caricature artist. People waited 30 deep, queuing up to get their own a fun, personalized sketch as a memento from the “Greatest Closing on Earth” booth at circus extravaganza.

Some of our wonderful colleagues and collaborators who stopped by were Mario Fermin of Best Source Realty, Ethel Emery and Linda Johnson of Dorsett Realty, Rhonda Williams of Hannon Properties, and Rhoda Fleming of EXP Realty. We also made new friends including Priscilla Lugo from Duffy Realty, Chad Cutler and Tony Rodarte from American Wholesale Mortgage, and Estella Ryan from Virtual Properties.

We look forward to further interaction with all these folks and send our thanks to the good folks at NAMAR for picking a fun circus theme which our team could rally ‘round, make our very own, and add our own creative stunts and spunk. Cheers to future events with NAMAR and other real estate industry professionals!
